Its funny how things work sometimes, you search high and low , busting those energy in search of the suitable one but you end up with nothing. Then coincidentally, while you were in the midst of another task, the one thing u'v searched all along appears by chance.

Ze grass is always greener on the other side

I'm self amazed too, to why I'v volunteered to do a 8km run this morning with the regulars despite knowing the fact that Iv gotta stand another 4 hours under the sun later in the day as a makeshift RP, and sprint another 2.4km for my 1st IPPT pass on the following day.

Besides the obvious reasons related to vainity, perhaps Iv come to realise that life in the army's too monotonous.. for me in particular. I witnessed today a buncha newly posted in specialists, grinning optimistically looking forward to finally settling in the "slack unit life". And here I am, slacking since the past 8 months, ironically wishing to be enlisted as a trainee just to get a taste of hardship.

I needed some moral boost, to sort out all thats been going on, to finally perk myself up, a sort of self issued challenge.. Think I did pretty well in the 8km trial run, perhaps that should convince my CSM that I'd be able to manage double that distance come tuesday.

Decided to shift things over from friendster mainly cos of the friend tracker problem, as it is impossible to NOT notify every single "friend" in the tracker list whenever I do an update. I just ain't comfortable havin my face appearing constantly in everyone's tracker as if sending out an invitation for all sayin .."Hey ! I did an Update. Come look !"

As with the old design, don't expect to see much flowers and unicorns in here. Life itself is complicated enough, so I'll just keep it simple here. Though I'd occasionally like to add a picture or two to spice things up and thats pretty much the all the bells and whistles you can expect.

Instead, I take more effort in phrasing my words despite my limited vocabs and simple command of english. Also, words can vary at times due to mood changes and times of the day, so unless your a light hearted person, don't say I didn't warn ya. Besides .. its my lair, so what the heck.
