The Photographer's Dilemma

The camera man is a lonely creature
There he is standing in the midst of the event
yet he isolates himself from his friends and fun
just to capture that the moment when the opportunity arise.

The camera man is also a shy creature
for he does his fine job of taking pictures for others
and has every reason to exclude himself.

They say that a picture speaks a thousand words,
yet how often has anyone spoken a word,
to the camera man?
They say that a picture freezes the moment
for an indefinite time,
yet how often was the time and efforts in producing a picture taken for granted?

Everyone's all groomed and dressed for the occasion,
except for the camera man carrying an unsightly bulk of equipments,
and a camera that constantly conceals half his face.

Perhaps it was on purpose that he wants to conceal his expressions,
so you will never know the real camera man
underneath that big black masquerade.
