If there's one incident that puts a halt on our hectic routines and to reflect how precious, yet vulnerable life can be ..

** 6pm , somewhere in camp **

Irritated by the delay, friend and I were making our way out of camp whilst on the discussion on plans after ORD. Just as we stepped on the road tarmac, a couple of sharp and distinct snaps above.

Before I could even recognise them, a few branches that resembled more like logs estimated to be at least a meter in length were already in their state of free fall. In the next blink of an eye, the deadfall smashed against the road tarmac and fragments of wood flew in all directions. To assist your imagination, think of a car explosion. (.. well almost)

And on the same spot still we stood, stunned by the impact just less than 5 meters ahead. Or you could say, less than 10 seconds walk before you innocently crossed onto ground zero. Amazingly still, none of the wooden fragments reached us.

Now ponder, what if ..

Though as a non believer of god, don't just rule me out from spiritual believes such as Fate and Karma. There is a time and place for every major event in life, most of them in occasions you least expected.

Thus, the saying

Live each day as if it were your last
